Mapping Pernon, Part Two

I may not last long because I had a pretty taxing Sunday night.

When I logged out last, I was in the SW quadrant of Pernon, Halcya State.   The Teleporter in Spire Isle (its capital?) showed me the names of all the Halcya villages, but I still have to run through them & get screenshots (& paint!).   Maybe I should go get a diet coke.

So far I am really liking the looks of Halcya State.   IRL I'd rather live on a mountain than by the sea, but the little rivers & beaches are very charming.

I teleported (984 kinah... not bad) to the far SW island, Azure Inlet Village.   I found 3 paint plants, yielding blue & purple, on main roads just outside the Village center.

The waterfront in Azure Inlet is really my kind of shoreline; I like the look of rocks & moss better than sandy beaches.   While I was there it started snowing again, which is just so weird when looking at a coastline.   No, I've never been to Nova Scotia.

There were fish in the water, shellfish on the rocks, & platinum nodes.   There are 2 properties in Halcya state available for purchase (a House in Spire Isle for 15m & an Estate in Mistcloak for 335m), but none of them in Azure Inlet.   Oh well.   I headed East into Longhill Pass Village.

Longhill Pass had a lot of scenic spots, being decorated very nicely with flower hedges & pleasing trees.   I found one Dye Plant just in front of the southernmost estate.   If that was a real house, that place would just have ridiculous views.

Standing outside, down on the shoreline, was some Villager who told me he can't fight any more; all he's good for is picking out snazzy outfits.  Then he said "May the darkness grant you peace!"   Creepy.   I liked it.   I then ran back up & harvested the Dye Plant AGAIN.   It had been, like... 2 minutes.   Yeah, this house is situated nicely.

The road East was very pretty in a grass & rocks kind of way, & I think I passed a spot where the Winter Agrint for the Turn, Turn, Turn quest pops.   There were 2 Dye Plants on the main road as I headed toward the center, & a villager said I was looking sharp.   Whatever, perv.

Night fell while I was in Spindletree & the lamps went on.   It wasn't quite as pretty as Silver Tree yesterday, but nice.   It felt to me like the houses in Spindletree were a bit denser than other villages.   Nevertheless, it seems this village is fully populated.

I headed North out of Spindletree past some Platinum nodes & came to Mistcloak Village.   This is one of the villages with an available Estate.   I found a Dye Plant immediately entering the Village center & another one exiting it on the other side, & yet another one up the hill from the Village center.

There was a strolling family - Mom, Dad, 2 kids - that passed me, but no one said anything.   Totally not creepy.   That was ok.   I liked the lavender flower hedges & the really peaceful inlet where I imagine it would be awesome fishing... oh wait, there's no fishing in this game.   Oh well.   Heading North to the next village.

Greenleaf was pretty before I even got there.   I could see the tall trees from the bridge.   There was a Dye Plant as I entered & I think I saw another, already harvested Dye Plant neat Village center.

I liked the gray rock walls used for landscaping, although there were a lot of wood platforms & stairs as well.   I did see a House of unpainted wood, which struck me as slightly novel.   A lot of the houses are painted paneling, & there's a lot of brick & antiqued stone.   To see unpainted wood paneling was odd.   But cute.

And I think that's it for Halcya State.   I'll get to the East side States later; I'm too tired right now.   I got me 20 Blue Paint though... I'm hoping one of the other 2 States has green.
